Project Manager (Portfolio Management)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives focusing on the Procurement area within our Portfolio Management team under the CFO area. As part of the Portfolio Management Team, you will play a key role in driving impactful solutions for the Source-to-Pay (S2P) portfolio - a critical area supporting procurement operations and strategy development.
In this position, you will work closely with the Portfolio Manager to achieve strategic priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams across Procurement, Finance, IT, and Global Data, which will ensure the successful execution of high-impact projects. From preparing decision board content to coordinating project updates and contributing to cross-functional CFO initiatives, you’ll be at the center of driving progress, alignment, and transparency across our organization.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PROJECT OVERSIGHT
- Collaborate with project teams to collect and consolidate updates, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of portfolio performance
- From project initiation through project closing, you’ll monitor project health (including timeline & budget), track deliverables, and coordinate cross-portfolio dependencies to help deliver company-wide results
- Assess project risks, anticipate challenges such as delays, or resource constraints and execute mitigation strategies while keeping stakeholders informed
PROJECT EXECUTION
- Evaluate impact assessment for new project proposals and ensure alignment with the existing portfolio objectives
- Promote collaboration to avoid siloed decision-making in order to define, design, and execute proposed solutions
- Provide guidance to project owners on adherence to portfolio framework standards and processes
- Ensure project goals and benefits are understood by leadership throughout every phase of the project
DATA QUALITY & REPORTING
- Collect, clean, and validate project data in close collaboration with the project team
- Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure data reliability for portfolio dashboards and reports for leadership, providing insights into progress, risks, and resource allocation
- Proactively encourage Project Owners to reflect up-to-date information on Workfront, followed by meeting/alignment
- Partner with the Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Management team members to brainstorm practical improvements to PM methodologies, tool setup, and communication paths to shape our way forward for this high-impact team
PORTFOLIO MONITORING
- Support Portfolio Manager to prepare reports and materials in order to collaborate with leadership and stakeholders for prioritization of projects based on strategic objectives, resource availability, and value added to the organization
- Develop an annual portfolio roadmap at a program & project level, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and budget constraints
- Provide quarterly updates to the organization via a portfolio newsletter to keep them informed
WORKSHOPS & MEETINGS
- Engage stakeholders and promote buy-in to implement new processes and support change management initiatives
- Facilitate project(s) review meetings, ensuring alignment with portfolio goals
- Assist in facilitating portfolio review meetings, including preparing materials and summarizing outcomes
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in project management, ideally with a focus on Procurement / Strategic Development / Finance etc.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), ideally with a focus on Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Project Management
- Fluent in English
- Proven success in driving cross-functional teams and managing complex projects following Project Management Methodologies
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint) and collaboration/project management tools

- Capability to communicate complex situations in a straightforward, fact-based manner to stakeholders
- Familiarity with project management tools (preferably Workfront, Confluence, and Jira) to coordinate cross-functional projects
- End-to-end Supply Chain know-how, FMCG environment preferred

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2,471 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
