You work closely with Product Owners and international development teams and actively help evolve modern development practices within a stable IBM i environment.
Core Backend RPG Development (40%): You design, develop, test, and maintain IBM i applications using RPG Free-Format and ILE RPG, focusing on stable and efficient backend business logic. High‑Performance DB2 / SQL Development (20%): You develop and optimise embedded SQL, stored procedures, and database access layers on DB2 for i, ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity.
