Your future responsibilities
- Take on full project responsibilities by continuously assessing the progress targeting given timeframe, budget and deliverables.
- Organize work, align resources and coordinate the project team and external collaborators, suppliers, partners.
- Define and monitor project KPIs and objectives together with Project Owners and Department Managers.
- Regularly report project status to internal stakeholders and external partners and customers.
- Identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage multi-firm consortia (typically up to 10 partners) collaborating in research projects both nationally and internationally.
- Maintain the projects overview managing interdependencies of several project responsibilities and coordinating multiple workstreams within each project
- Oversee financial planning and control in line with the business objective of the unit.
- Manage the Research Unit’s project portfolio and support resource planning and control.
- Support of the project acquisition and thereby being constantly involved in the future research topics to come.

Introduction
- Construction and further development of a plasma treatment unit for various substrates (primarily steel strip)
- Co-development of an inline layer thickness measurement system for plasma coating, including electrical engineering aspects
- Development and implementation of inline plasma analysis (e.g., optical emission spectroscopy, mass spectrometry)
- Investigations on steel samples: Surface characterization using methods such as AFM, SEM, XRD, etc.
- Plasma annealing: Comparison of current annealing technologies (literature), concept for laboratory setup with W wire as an additional source, integration into existing simulator
- Temperature measurement at high temperatures based on emissivity measurements: interaction of metal vapor and plasma

- Forcierung des Einsatzes von Self-Service-BI-Tools (z.B. PowerBI, SAP Cloud for Analytics, …) sowie klassischen BI-Tools
- Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung unserer BI- und Reporting-Landschaft (Vorkenntnisse im Umfeld SAP-BO Analysis oder MS Power Platform vorteilhaft)
- Dashboard-Design und Entwicklung im Rahmen der Transformation des Reportingprozesses in agiler Arbeitsweise
- Automatisierung von Prozessen unter anderem Entwurf, Umsetzung und Wartung von RPA- und Process Mining Lösungen
- Begleitung von potentiellen KI- und ML Aktivitäten
- Gestalten und Umsetzen von Digitalisierungsprojekten
