Your Responsibilities:
Core Development: Design and program embedded software using C/C++ for state-of-the-art microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, STM32, ESP32). Real-Time Systems: Implementation of sophisticated real-time applications using RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS). Connectivity & Protocols: Implement and optimize communication protocols (MQTT, Modbus, CAN, I2C, SPI) and integrate wireless standards such as Bluetooth, ZigBee, LoRa, or Wi-Fi. Hardware-Near Coding: Develop drivers for peripheral devices and perform low-level debugging and error analysis directly on the hardware. Documentation: Create technical specifications, developer documentation, and comprehensive test concepts to ensure high-quality releases.

- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for hardware (batteries, chargers) and software (e.g. BMS, diagnostic tools)
- Collaboration with development, service and global project teams
- Implementation of the specifications from our internal editorial guidelines, which keep standards and guidelines up-to-date
- Participation in the further development of our documentation processes and tools
- Support in the creative preparation of technical illustrations

Introduction
- Preparing complex issues for the management team, board, and supervisory board meetings in a visually appealing and convincing manner
- Preparation and evaluation of business cases (including sensitivity analyses, investment calculations, etc.)
- Cross-departmental coordination and analysis of topics and development of consistent decision-making bases
- Structured elaboration of current topics in the areas of finance, HR, and business continuity/quality management
- Communication and acting as an interface between management and specialist departments (especially controlling, commercial management, HR, and business continuity/quality management)
- Preparation of meaningful analyses and reports
- Conception and implementation of cross-departmental strategic projects

Introduction
- Construction and further development of a plasma treatment unit for various substrates (primarily steel strip)
- Co-development of an inline layer thickness measurement system for plasma coating, including electrical engineering aspects
- Development and implementation of inline plasma analysis (e.g., optical emission spectroscopy, mass spectrometry)
- Investigations on steel samples: Surface characterization using methods such as AFM, SEM, XRD, etc.
- Plasma annealing: Comparison of current annealing technologies (literature), concept for laboratory setup with W wire as an additional source, integration into existing simulator
- Temperature measurement at high temperatures based on emissivity measurements: interaction of metal vapor and plasma
