EVENT MARKETING - GENERAL STRATEGY
You'll own and shape Red Bull’s global gaming event strategy, leading the creation and execution of world-class gaming, esports, and entertainment events that leverage top-tier intellectual properties—such as those from Microsoft or Sony—and the influence of Red Bull Players. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing a long-term vision to further solidify Red Bull’s presence in the gaming space. Additionally, you'll oversee contract negotiations, covering budgets, performance agreements, objectives, branding guidelines, and more.
KEY CONTACT FOR OTHER DEPARTMENTS AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS
You'll act as the key point of contact for multiple internal departments—including Red Bull Media Network, Partnerships, Legal, Brand Marketing, On Premise, and Off Premise—ensuring alignment and collaboration on all gaming event initiatives. You’ll also work closely with external stakeholders based on project needs and support partnership teams to drive revenue growth from gaming events. A crucial part of your role will be to ensure smooth and consistent information flow across all involved parties.
INNOVATION
You'll lead new projects and business discussions related to gaming events, including consumer activations in collaboration with the Brand team, sales-driven opportunities, merchandising initiatives, and the development of new partnership and revenue models to drive income and expand the impact of our events. You'll also lead a team and further evolve our gaming, esports, and entertainment event strategy and related initiatives as well as manage the Red Bull markets portfolio while being innovative and thinking beyond traditional event approaches in the market.
EVENT MARKETING – INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION & COUNTRY GUIDANCE
In this role, you'll maintain regular contact with over 50 international colleagues to ensure strategic oversight of planned projects and competitions across markets. You'll lead the business planning for gaming events globally, while also consulting, guiding, and coaching national Gaming Marketing teams on the execution of all gaming-related event activities.
EVENT MARKETING – EMPLOYE MANAGEMENT
You'll directly manage a team of professionals dedicated to the program, taking full ownership of their talent development, performance outcomes, and contributing to the company’s long-term succession planning.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Minimum 10+ years in a leading marketing role within the event space (gaming, esports, sports, etc.) at Red Bull or a similar consumer-driven brand, agency, publisher, or organization—holding full content and budget responsibility
- Proven collaboration with gaming event organizers, a strong network in the gaming/esports industry, and deep familiarity with PC, console, and mobile games. Being an active gamer with hands-on knowledge of top competitive titles (e.g., CS, League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, Rainbow Six, Age of Empires II) is essential
- Demonstrated success as an independent project leader with a solid track record of delivering impactful initiatives, alongside strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage teams
- Strong organizational talent, entrepreneurial thinking, and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders and markets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills; fluency in English is mandatory, with additional languages as a plus

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 5.472 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
