RESPONSIBILITIES

Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

Incident Handling & Investigation

In this position, you’ll receive and triage incoming data quality tickets from business partners, performing initial analyses to identify root causes. You’ll resolve straightforward issues independently and escalate more complex cases to the Data Quality Manager or the responsible data providers. Additionally, you’ll ensure all tickets are accurately documented, properly classified, and consistently tracked through to closure.

Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination

Here, you serve as the primary operational touchpoint for business partners and data providers when data quality questions arise. You communicate findings in a clear and accessible way, ensuring stakeholders understand underlying causes and their ownership responsibilities. By cultivating strong, solution-oriented relationships, you encourage collaborative problem-solving while promoting accountability in a non-enforcement setting.

Continuous Improvement Support

In this capacity, you spot recurring patterns and operational gaps, recommending preventative actions to reduce future issues. You’ll bring your perspective to ongoing efforts to refine data quality standards, enhance metadata structures, and clarify ownership across the ecosystem, driving sustainable improvements over time.

Data Quality Reporting & Documentation

In this role, you’ll keep an up-to-date overview of recurring data quality issues by maintaining the central statistics list used for trend monitoring. You’ll distill systemic or repeated problems into clear summaries for management reporting and contribute valuable insights to improvement discussions with data providers. You’ll also support the creation of periodic review materials that help guide data quality initiatives across the organization.

Collaboration within the Data Quality Function

You’ll partner closely with the Data Quality Manager to enhance investigation methods, streamline ticket processes, and strengthen the feedback channels to data owners. Your contributions help shape repeatable best practices and support the continuous maturation of data quality issue handling within our federated governance model.
