RESPONSIBILITIES
- University degree, preferably in Engineering
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an occupational safety professional
- Knowledge of project management, H&S management systems, communication, or training design is an advantage
- Qualification in occupational safety (depending on your place of training) qualification corresponds to: Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit according to ASiG (DE), Sicherheitsfachkraft according to SFK-VO (AT), Responsabile del Servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione (IT), Certified Health and Safety Manager, Certified Safety Professional, Master Safety Professional, NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma or an equivalent qualification;
- Affinity for IT tools and proficiency in all MS Office products
- Fluent in German and English
- High levels of personal energy and drive with an entrepreneurial 'can-do' attitude
- Enthusiastic and open-minded individual who thrives on continuous learning and applying best practices
- Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills

Implementierung und Umsetzung des Prozesssicherheitsmanagementsystems PSM nach ISO 31000 und CCPS (Center for Chemical Process Safety) für die Viskosetechnologe am Standort -
Durchführung und Unterstützung von Risikoanalysen in lokalen und globalen MoC-Projekten -
Durchführung von Störfall- und Ursachenanalysen von Prozesssicherheitsvorfällen -

- Unterstützung bei der Optimierung der globalen Geschäftsprozesse im Bereich HSE & Quality

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

You will plan, lead and conduct internal audit activities throughout the Lenzing Group (at Headquarters; on group level; or at individual sites) in an efficient and flexible manner, keeping to best practice, respecting internal audit standards, and maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and independent auditor’s opinion -
You will report directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Audit & Risk Management, providing information about ongoing activities, risk detection, and any other relevant details for audit conduct or planning -
You will cooperate with auditees and with other departments as well as top management -
You will be involved in the yearly audit planning on a risk-based approach; contribute to reporting activity towards the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board; and participate in knowledge-sharing and improvement process of auditing process as well as internal consulting services to improve the control environment -
You will follow up on audit recommendations and actions (to be carried out by auditees)

- Drive innovative solutions through effective team leadership and expert coordination. .
- Manage resource planning and allocation for the research team

- Leading and developing the Embedded Artificial Intelligence research unit in the Intelligent Wireless Systems Division with currently 14 scientists focusing on machine learning, signal processing and neural network VLSI accelerators for a wide range of domains and applications.
- Vision for long-term research opportunities in electronic systems and miniaturization of machine learning and signal processing algorithms into hardware.
- Shaping the division research program and project portfolio together with supervisors and peers.
- Collaborate with the diverse team of experts to find optimal solutions.
- Budget and ressource planning and control for the research unit.
- Overall, lead the research unit to generate high quality research outputs, scientific excellence and economic impact. Keep growing the research unit.
