We are operating a complex system landscape combining legacy platforms (IBMi/ self-developed Transport Information System TIS) with modern applications such as soloplan carLo, telematics, and data platforms. Our mission is to evolve this landscape into a scalable, resilient, and future-proof architecture - without compromising operational stability.
You will be working on one of the most critical challenges in modern IT: Transforming a legacy-driven transport landscape into a future-ready architecture!
This is a key role in shaping the future architecture of a core business domain with direct influence on the modernization of mission-critical systems, flat hierarchies, fast decision-making, strong collaboration between IT and business and a transparent and supportive architecture and engineering culture.
Your Responsibilities:
- Structured: you translate business requirements into clear, structured solution architectures
- Decisive: you act as the decision authority for system and integration design
- Holistic: you design and govern end-to-end data flows
- Transformational: you drive the modernization of legacy systems
- Consistent: you ensure consistent implementation and integration of master data

- Forward-thinking: you identify and manage technical risks
Your Profile:
- Background: 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Domain Architecture, or a comparable role, strong technical background with hands-on experience in system integration and complex IT landscapes,
- Solid understanding of data architecture and master data management concepts, proven experience in designing integrations (APIs, messaging, interfaces) and managing heterogeneous system environments
- Experience with legacy systems (e.g., IBMi(AS400)) is a strong advantage
- Experience working in project-driven or agile environments
- Ability to balance business needs with technical constraints in a pragmatic and structured way, strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly
- Languages: Business-level English required; German is a plus

Salary: Your starting salary will be based on your qualifications and experience and starts at EUR 3.500 gross per month (on a full-time basis). If you have the appropriate qualifications, we are willing to offer a competitive salary above the market rate.
