Own Tractive's end-to-end tracking across iOS, Android, and web — defining how Live Tracking, Virtual Fences, PSZs, and Health Monitoring are measured so teams can make decisions they trust Design and evolve our event taxonomy and KPI frameworks, ensuring every meaningful moment - an escape alert, a health alert, a subscription - is captured consistently and privacy-compliantly Implement and maintain web tracking using Google Tag Manager and JavaScript - instrumenting events, debugging, and ensuring reliable data collection in production Build scalable analytics assets in BigQuery, dbt, or similar tools that answer questions like "How does PSZ adoption affect retention?" or "What drives free-to-premium conversion?" Your future responsibilities
- Acquisition of R&D projects for IC-Design, focusing on Sensorics, RF and mm-wave communication, radar applications and similar
- Acquisition of industrial partners (with a special focus on Start-ups and SMEs) and non-industrial partners (academic institutions, research centres) partners for innovative IC-Design project collaborations
- Defining a clear business strategy, leveraging unique SAL’s value proposition to attract customers, expand the customer base and find new markets
- Co-developing and shaping the service offering and the research strategy with both Engineering and Research teams, providing insights into current trends and expected industry developments, identifying opportunities and challenges
- Key-account management for premium partners, developing service quotations for clients and managing and of an efficient and agile customer database
- Liaising with the Marketing / PR and Engineering departments on the creation of marketing campaigns and related material, press releases and social media communication channels
- Representing SAL at events (both internal and external), organising and attending conferences, meetings and industry events

- Establish, lead, and advance a new research unit, building a team of 10-20 researchers.
- Acquire financial resources to operate the research unit through the different cooperation models of SAL.
- Strategically plan and allocate resources for the Research Unit, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide mentorship, scientific guidance, and supervision of researchers.
- Corporate and profit responsibility.
- Initiate and oversee collaborative projects with academia and industry.
- Expand the research unit’s international network through partnership acquisition and ongoing network activities.
- Shape the research program of the Research Unit, creating project portfolios together with the division head.
- Grow the research unit towards research excellence and economic impact.
- Create a motivated, collaborative, and relaxed atmosphere for scientists to thrive in.
