- Projekt- und Auftragsplanung
- Terminbestimmung entlang des gesamten Projekt- und Auftragsdurchlaufs basierend auf verfügbaren Kapazitäten
- Steuerung und Überwachung der Disposition
- Kontinuierliche Kontrolle der kapazitiven Auslastung sowie Ableitung notwendiger Maßnahmen
- Produktionsnahe Planung und Steuerung
- Erstellung, Pflege und Aktualisierung der Grobplanung sowie der Forecastplanung
- Unterstützung bei Neuproduktionsanläufen und deren prozessseitiger Absicherung
- Unterstützung in der Programmplanung für bestehende und neue Produkte
- Stammdaten- und Systempflege
- Pflege und Qualitätssicherung von ERP-relevanten Stammdaten zur Ablauforganisation
- Prüfung von Produktionsstücklisten, Arbeitsplänen und Zeitwirtschaftsdaten im ERP-System
- Datenpflege der Stammdaten sowie Pflege von Ansichten und Berichten in wayRTS
- Prozess- und Systemoptimierung
- Weiterentwicklung und Standardisierung der Planungs- und Arbeitsvorbereitungsprozesse
- Mitarbeit in Projekten zur Prozess- und Produktionsoptimierung
- Sicherstellung einer effizienten, transparenten und qualitätsgesicherten Planung, Steuerung und Koordination in Fertigungssteuerung, Arbeitsvorbereitung und Produktionsplanung

Key Responsibilities
Model Development: Advance predictive models and personalization solutions using state-of-the-art ML techniques. Data Insights: Perform in-depth exploratory and statistical modeling on system-generated data to identify actionable insights. Validation: Build, evaluate, and validate models using rigorous performance metrics and experimentation frameworks. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product teams to support model integration into production platforms. Reporting: Communicate complex analytical findings and model limitations through clear visualizations and documentation. Performance Monitoring: Monitor model health over time and recommend recalibrations or retraining as needed.

- Durchführung vergleichender soziologischer Forschung zu Explainable AI aus Perspektiven soziotechnischer Systeme und impliziten Wissens
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Projektpartner*innen aus Wissenschaft und Praxis
- Veröffentlichung der Forschungsergebnisse in internationalen Fachzeitschriften
- Präsentation der Projektergebnisse auf wissenschaftlichen Konferenzen
- Möglichkeit zur Erarbeitung einer Dissertation im Rahmen des Projekts

Your future responsibilities
- Acquisition of R&D projects for IC-Design, focusing on Sensorics, RF and mm-wave communication, radar applications and similar
- Acquisition of industrial partners (with a special focus on Start-ups and SMEs) and non-industrial partners (academic institutions, research centres) partners for innovative IC-Design project collaborations
- Defining a clear business strategy, leveraging unique SAL’s value proposition to attract customers, expand the customer base and find new markets
- Co-developing and shaping the service offering and the research strategy with both Engineering and Research teams, providing insights into current trends and expected industry developments, identifying opportunities and challenges
- Key-account management for premium partners, developing service quotations for clients and managing and of an efficient and agile customer database
- Liaising with the Marketing / PR and Engineering departments on the creation of marketing campaigns and related material, press releases and social media communication channels
- Representing SAL at events (both internal and external), organising and attending conferences, meetings and industry events

Your future responsibilities
- Take on full project responsibilities by continuously assessing the progress targeting given timeframe, budget and deliverables.
- Organize work, align resources and coordinate the project team and external collaborators, suppliers, partners.
- Define and monitor project KPIs and objectives together with Project Owners and Department Managers.
- Regularly report project status to internal stakeholders and external partners and customers.
- Identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage multi-firm consortia (typically up to 10 partners) collaborating in research projects both nationally and internationally.
- Maintain the projects overview managing interdependencies of several project responsibilities and coordinating multiple workstreams within each project
- Oversee financial planning and control in line with the business objective of the unit.
- Manage the Research Unit’s project portfolio and support resource planning and control.
- Support of the project acquisition and thereby being constantly involved in the future research topics to come.

- Acquire financial resources to operate the research unit through the different cooperation models of SAL.
- Strategically plan and allocate resources for the Research Unit, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide mentorship, scientific guidance, and supervision of researchers.
- Corporate and profit responsibility.
- Initiate and oversee collaborative projects with academia and industry.
- Expand the research unit’s international network through partnership acquisition and ongoing network activities.
- Shape the research program of the Research Unit, creating project portfolios together with the division head.
- Grow the research unit towards research excellence and economic impact.
- Create a motivated, collaborative, and relaxed atmosphere for scientists to thrive in.
