In a nutshell
This role involves defining content guidance, commissioning needs, and editorial curation for VOD and LIVE content designed to engage Red Bull TV audiences across TV apps, FAST channels, and shared viewing (OOH) platforms globally. With an audience-first mindset, you’ll stay attuned to the shifting big screen landscape across social and legacy media. A key part of the role includes developing tailored content briefs for producers worldwide, customized for each channel’s unique requirements. Clear commissioning workflows and approval processes will be established to ensure production standards align with platform needs. Using data and analytics, you will refine and optimize content strategies to drive audience acquisition and retention. Collaboration with programming teams will also be essential to create a strategically optimized release calendar that supports the overall goals of Red Bull TV.
Content Development and Management
Your meticulous approach will drive the development and management of content workflows, ensuring seamless curation processes and effective greenlighting of projects. You'll oversee the repackaging of existing Red Bull projects to meet the unique requirements of various channels and global audiences. In addition, you'll craft and communicate detailed content briefs for live and on-demand programming across Red Bull TV channels, establishing consistency in tone, quality, and messaging. Creativity and editorial intuition will help you innovate and optimize every aspect of content creation, ensuring that all outputs meet Red Bull’s high standards.
Strategy and Insights
As part of this role, you'll rely on data, analytics, and market insights to shape and refine content strategies that align with Red Bull's global marketing objectives and brand values. By analyzing audience behaviors and trends, you'll ensure Red Bull TV channels remain optimized for the rapidly shifting media landscape. Insights will guide your efforts to continually improve video quality while equipping content producers at HQ and in Red Bull markets worldwide with best practices. Collaboration with programming teams will allow you to strategize release calendars and create thematic bundles that resonate with audiences globally, maximizing the impact of content across all platforms.
Production and Execution
Through effective coordination, you'll manage vendors, editors, and other production partners to ensure smooth execution of content projects. By fostering strong relationships with external collaborators, you'll guarantee that workflows are efficient and deliverables align with Red Bull’s standards of excellence. Your role will involve overseeing the operational aspects of content creation, ensuring that each project reflects the brand’s objectives and values. Attention to detail and organizational expertise will allow you to streamline the production process and deliver high-quality, innovative content that stands out on Red Bull TV channels.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- 5+ years of experience in 16:9 content production, with expertise in social-first content (e.g., YouTube) and a genuine interest in and understanding of Red Bull sports, cultural properties, and the communities they serve.
- Knowledge of YouTube content best practices, including titles and thumbnails.
- Strong understanding of media analytics, with a proven track record of optimizing content using data.
- Experience in management and leadership within cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to develop and implement content and production-related workflows and processes, with a solid understanding of all stages of the content production process, as well as experience in vendor and budget management.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite, a passion for audience behavior, and a strong interest in the rapidly shifting media landscape.
- Team-player mentality, with a willingness to explore and try new ideas. Fluent in English.

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €2.303 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
